Context
Detox is a widely used open-source end-to-end testing framework in the React Native ecosystem. I worked on its public documentation website inside an established open-source codebase and development workflow.
What I worked on
My work included documentation site content updates, homepage and showcase page implementation, visual styling based on Figma designs, Sass/SCSS refactoring, and visual regression testing workflows.
Why it was challenging
This was not a blank personal project. I had to work inside an existing open-source repository, understand the architecture, follow project conventions, coordinate design expectations, and make changes that could be reviewed and merged by maintainers.
What this demonstrates
The project demonstrates frontend development, technical writing, open-source collaboration, documentation platform work, visual regression testing, and the ability to contribute safely inside a mature public codebase.
